On September 25, security forces of Turkey detained 36 people in Istanbul suspecting them of having links with ISIS militants. According to law enforcement agencies, the five of the detainees participated in the military operations in Syria and Iraq. It is noticed that most of them are foreigners.

Turkey to Aggravate Situation in Northern Syria, by Mehmet Ersoy
On September 25, an independence referendum started in Iraqi Kurdistan. According to it, more than 92% support an autonomy. Obviously, the referendum provoked furious reaction of the Turkish government – Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened the Kurds with a military invasion and freezing the pipeline transporting the Iraqi oil on the territory of Turkey.
